    Default interior plastic cleaning

just wondering what people use to clean the inside plastic trim.my eldest son (7) plays football for his local team and has managed with the help of the weather to plaster the footwell plastic trim and sill trim with mud.have tried washing it and it seems to go but once dry its still there faintly in the grooves.any tips or product to get to bring it back to showroom finish.

I use AG Vinyl and Rubber care. Great stuff, different ways of applying it give you different effects (glossy or satin). Its also great for engine plastics and arches.

    ditto Rushy...
I use it on a lot of plastics.. all interior except the dashborad and steering wheel

as for actually cleaning the muck out ... maybe a brush will help... and some megs APC

the top one is to give it a really good clean (like for what you need)

the bottom one is more of a detail as and when

When I was a young lad, had a Rover SDi 3500 Vitesse (well my dads car but I used to drive it) and in his garage was a spray can of "STP Sun of a Gun". This was the best product I ever used for a gloss interior (on the bits that could be gloss). Never seen the product again since. Shame.

I use the megs interior detailer on plastics to get rid of muddy scuffs, etc.

I use the megs plastic cleaner for the lights / headlamp protectors & speedo / tacho plastic.

For actual cleaning you cant beat Megs APC (all purpose cleaner) mixed at 10:1 for light soiling, or 4:1 for heavy soiling. Buy the foamer heads and bottles and APC from cleanandshiny, stuff works great.

For detailing trim use either AG Trim stuff or the best imho which is poorboys natural look.
