    Default Boost Pipe

Yet again my boost pipe has split, does anybody know the part number for the reinforced one and how much it is?

BTW what is it reinforced with?

When mine goes again I'm going to reinforce it myself.
Don't laugh at this but I will probably use an aluminium beer can and wrap it around the pipe then secure with cable ties.
Failing that I'll cut up another hose and wrap that around.

Right just got back from dealers and im not happy.
    1. Ordered boost pipe, got it in stock, good good, £108!!! For a f***ing pipe! asked why so much and when the bloke got it, its the whole pipe from after the metal pipe over the engine to the intercooler, why do they not sell it seperate?
    2. I wanted the Sunglasses holder, "whats that?" asks the bloke? How stupid are they!??! Do the need it in big letters on their forehead? So i explained it and could he find it? No! His computer doesnt have it so out came the book! He looked at 1 page and no, they cant find the part i want. I should of got the number but it was an impulse decision.

Ok... Feel better now and off to change the pipe

I'd do what TT suggests, take the pipe off, tin snip enough of a can to go around the pipe, then cover this with rad hose or sim, and jubille clip tighten at both ends and the middle.
