    Question Painting chrome bits

Is this easy to do? Is it just a matter of roughing it a bit to key the surface? I've just got an Irmscher grille off ebay (thanks SRI-RICH!) and thought when the other one is off I might colour code it as an experiment i.e. paint the chrome V bit blue.

Whadya reckon? Anyone done this before?

the chrome is just plastic so treat it like any other kind of plastic you paint. Give it a light rub down with nothing too harsh that will create scratches, give it a coat of plastic primer, rub down, normal primer, run down and then top coat

Matt Matted his *lol* & I glossed my signum surrounds, so either works, I just keyed lightly with some 1200 and primed, sprayed and laquered them. No problem at all ...

And thanks to Matt for the insperation after seeing his at TRAX
