Default What air filter for 2.2sri?

Please help, what air filter should I use for my 2.2sri, 2004.

I have read posts and cant decide whether the panel filter is best with the air box mod or a k&n induction kit. (i am a little concerned with the engine heat being sucked in on the induction kit)

    All opinions are appreciated.

It is only a very small gain but every little helps.

I have a K&N induction kit with a cold air feed and i get no problem with the heat of the engine interfearing with the air filter. This used to be a problem with the vec b's though because of the front panel and headlight's there were no way to get cold air to the induction kit.

Can anyone tell me what gains they have had after fitting the panel filter and done the air box mod?

And are the mods on the airbox the same on all models of vectra?

    thanks
