Default New Signum Owner - Service Question

Just bought a 2.2 Diesel 04 Signum which I pick up next weekend.

It was serviced in Jan 07 at about 37k miles, it done less than 10k since. When I pressed the trip reset thing it said the service is in 1.000 miles?

If thats a 1000, thats does not seem right?

depends as it might be on flex service, however my 2.2 was on fixed intervals.

Flex service depends on how car was driven since Jan, however it's more likely it's on fixed but wasn't reset.

Search the forums it'll tell you how to reset it.

It goes something like keys in the ign and hold the trip in for a while, after it shows you what miles until it needs a service, there are many variables to them as well, a car thats been driven carefully will show more miles to service than one thats had a repping, to be on the safe side I'd run it into Kwik Fit and have an oil service done on it to cover you up to the next full due date.

Too right, the name says it all really.

Quick in and out, not a care for quality of service, just for high volume, makes the books look good!!!

When i bought mine i had the same problem - i called Skurrays and they said if i can prove the car has had a service they would reset it for free. It's worth you give your dealer a call...
