dopey me fog light loom how much ?

you are all going to laugh at this one ?
l upgraded fog lights to a ls car great and yes i know you have to wire it up all seperate so i got all the kit apart from the connectors to the fog lights themselfs, so went to vauxhall and asked how much for a fog light loom came back 45pounds plus vat ??????????? HOW MUCH with that i left a little sad, on the way home pulled in to a old fashion breakers yard were you can still get in there and strip the car for parts (love that) anyway sat in the corner was an 0ld type mark2 sri vectra with fog lights missing thought i take a chance and take the connectors off with a pair of scissors put 50p in the charity box as asked by the bloke and guess what the ****** things fitted perfect!!!!!!! good old vauxhall 10 out of 10 all wired up and pics to follow so how stupied am i lesson to be learnt there.
