Default Rear tyre wear Vecta 03

    Can anyone help?
I have an 03 Vectra hatchback and the rear tyres wear out on the inside. Two tyre fitting places have suggested it may be due to carrying heavy loads. The heaviest thing the car carries is me, cheecky devils. The wheels were aligned when the rear tyres were replaced 6 months ago.

The car needs to go up on a ramp and have the rear bushes checked

Have the rear tyres always been on the rear, or swapped at any point?
How many miles is on them (front / rear)?

    Hi m8internet

Have there been any modifications or new parts fitted to the rear suspension?

4,000 miles is almost nothing to rear tyres
    What make, brand, and type?
I'd be taking them back to where I bought them and asking serious questions!
My rear tyres have already done 10K miles in 4 months, and are down just 2mm

Yeah, doesn't sound right. My 03 has done just about 58k miles and have just put it's third rear set on, and that was because of punctures.

As above, get the car up on a ramp and check those rear bushes

Was a full four wheel alignment check dones with the new tyres?
If not, it really should be done at every new tyre fitting
National Tyres check for FREE, and charge just £11 if adjustment is required at the time of fitting
Take your receipt, and give them a musolobo

my 03 has a similar wear on the inside of the rear tyres(10k). It also has wear on the outside of the fronts. However, my springs have just been replaced on the front, so that does explain some of it. My local garage checked everything out for me, and said apart from the springs, it was ok. Passed the M.O.T. at the time.
I'm gonna wear out the tyres, then fit a new set of boots and get tracking etc checked then.
