Default Madeline sighted in Malta ?

Apparently some British holidaymakers have seen the little girl in Malta. Why the flip didn't they approach her and the people she was with then. I'd rather make a t*** of myself and be wrong than come home and tell people about it. How thick are these people.

Oh yes I think I saw her in Malta wearing a wig

Did you think about doing anything or were you just happy to see her go

Oh yes, I was more than happy to do nothing and tell people as much when I got back home. Made the holiday really.

Unfortunately, I don't think it was her.

I really doubt whether she is still alive, as horrible as that is for her and her family. The statistics don't look good after this length of time

And if she was, like the people who have her would take her out with all the media attention but I agree how stupid.

    <enter rant mode>

I must be the only person in the UK, who is totally fed up with all this media hype over this.

Thousands of children vanish every year - how do their parents feel?

It can't be good for their other children to be away from their parents or away from school etc.

Ok - you can all shoot me down now - but I am sick of this 'let's go on another jolly to another country paid for by a newspaper'. At the end of the day they left their young children on their own, unsupervised, whilst they enjoyed themselves down the road. As for popping back every 15 minutes - do you seriously believe they did.

    argh!!!

(okay - out of rant mode now )

    Dons flame proof suit

I don't know how many UK children go missing every year, but I don't think it runs into the thousands.

There's a bit of history to this topic for me here, I've been asked not to give my views at this time which I'm happy to do for the ppl requesting me not to.

I suggest this thread like the last one is closed or removed for now, if I read things right the main concerns are that things don't appear on open forum that could be unhelpful in the future.

    Agreed !!

Its turned into theatre... The media are not interested in pushing the facts... they want emotions, heartache, drama.... and they will create as much of it as possible, cos it keeps selling papers !!

Those parents should be ASHAMED of themselves for leaving that poor girl in the first place....

I find it very hard to believe (maybe it's just me) but, as a parent if i thought for a minute that i saw a little girl that looked like madeline wearing a wig, i would be straight over there, making a tw4t of myself if needed.

I like others here believe it's too late for the wee one now, sad as it may sound, and i agree that she shouldn't have been left on her own at all, let alone for 15 mins at a time.....

I also didn't think we were being censored to our thoughts and views (come on vv out with it) other than foull language, the *******s!!!!!!
