I really like the Irmscher Carbon Effect Trim Set from the likes of LMF, however I don't have £170 to spend. I have found some carbon sheet for under a tenner that will do the whole lot including around the door mirrors (these are easy to get off). I want to take the pillars off to make mounting the sheet easier and ensure that it wraps around all the edges.

I still don't know if I am going to buy the sheet or not as I'm not quite sure how it will look

i'm sure that the carbon effect stuff will go straight on top of the original trim m8, i did this a few years ago on an old nova and it looked ok

also while i think about it i'm sure the irmy one goes straight on top of it too

Quite easy to do... just let the windows down and then pull the rubber seal outwards that sits in the trim, you will see about 3 or 4 screws holding the trim securely, once they are released pull the trim backwards as it lips around the back edge of the door.East peasy, its one of those jobs that becomes self explanetry once you start messsing!
