Knocking noise when braking?

On the way to work this morning noticed a slight knocking noise coming from my Vec, it was only when braking a very faint knock noise from drivers side, it wasnt contious knock just one slight knock when braking, it wasnt doing it when stationary just when driving, all pads were changed 2 weeks ago, any help would be marvellous cheers!!

could be the pads moving a little when you brake ! or possibly a joint or link arm ! or even worse the bottom arm ! eek ! i'd jack it up and give it a wobble ! see if you can get it to do it !

sounds like they didn't use pads with the proper size backing plate, so they move in the caliper.. it's too much of a co-incidence..

I'd lay very good money they fitted pattern pads as they are just that bit too loose in the caliper and the knock is when the rotation of the disc pulls the pads round in the caliper.. not dangerous, but it shouldn't be there and doesn't happen if you fit VX pads.

Cheers guys, the pads were done about 4 weeks ago so would it just start knocking now,since the pads have worn down a little? Am I okay to leave them or should I get them changed? I got the pads off ebay! Have I been ripped off £38.00 front and back pads.
