    Default Not the usual mpg

Iv'e got a bit bored today ad thought i would compare the mpg of a car ad that of someoe runing on red bull.

my car does 36ish MPG and costs about 11.1 pence per mile

my calculation for red bull is:

in one can has 45kcal and is 250ml giving 180kcal

a 64kg person walking at 2mph will uses 174 kcal

so that gives us a total of 9.09 MPG and works out of a cost 168 pence per mile

so next time you are thinking of having some before walkign somewhere, jump in the car, its cheaper and a good excuse for driving

anyhow my method is probibly flawed somewhere and am rather bored

You're missing the Vodka out which will eventually slow the walker down! Mind you a bit of vodka in the tank should make it go a bit quicker...........!

it should also make the person stagger a bit and thus add to the distance walked, however it will also keep the person warm so thus has that added value

yep, good old beer jacket. however, you've omitted the beer scooter effect, in which the drinker arrives home seconds after leaving the pub, with no recollection of the journey. if you factor this light speed travel into the equation, what happens then?

well if the person had not recolection of the walk home then really they would be no miles traveled yet still an empty tank therefore he didnt make the d tour to the curry house on the way back! but surely this would mean that the actual value would be infinity with an infinitley expensive pence per mile

Ah but he'd remember the hot curry in the morning on the rapid visit to the khazi hence usung all unremembered mileage up quickly thus cancelling out unused and now burning(perhaps literally) more up making the night less economical.....
