Default Sports Instruments - New Vectra/Signum

I've just been studying the brochure for the new Vectra and Signum.
It lists "Sports Instruments" as standard on only the Vectra SRi and the Signum Design models.
Anyone know what these are? Is it just a cosmetic jobbie, or are there some extra instruments on these models?

well, my 2003 signum design has the same ' sports dials ' as the gsi ( whatever it is ) vectra,

i think the dials are a little recessed and have a chrome bezel round them, and possibly a different colour needle,

I should imagine that 'sports instruments' means alloy surrounds for the dials and italic numbering on speedo and rev counter with red needles or something like that.

    Thank for the photos BB,
These look similar to the dials on my '54' SRi, but mine too have a bit more (sporty?) red on them.
I thought, reading the brochure on the new model, that the SRi Vec / Design Signum models maybe got some extra instruments or something, but no, it's seems "sports instrumentation" in "VX speak" unfortunately doesn't mean a cluster of additional gauges!
One more reason to hang onto my current car then.

No, I was wrong.....they are exactly the same as BB's Signum (no additional "sporty" red). Naturally, being petrol, the revcounter is red-lined at 6.5k and strangely, the speedo reads up to 170mph........just why VX do this I can't imagine, as the diesels and petrols have more or less comparible performances throughout the range.
