I need to remove my rear wiper, I've undone the nut etc but the arm still won't come off, any ideas as don't want to do any damage to it lol

I had to by a cheap bearing puller in the end for about £10 I believe.

The shaft the arm fits onto is splinned and is fitted with an interferance fit. I tried everything other than this to get it off including ways I dare not mention on here

Fortunaterly the wiper motor, rear screen and paintwork all survived

Can't remember where I bought the tool from, and I'm less than half way through a 3000 word essay due in tomorrow so I haven't got time to find the thing and photograph it but if you can wait a couple of days I will, or does anyone else have something similar?

Alternatively northampton is not a million miles away, if you were ever coming in this direction, I'd be happy to come part of the way to meet you. Just a thought.

Finally managed to fit my later rear wiper arm and flatblade, ordered up a wiper removal tool showing in stock at one of our other branches at work and my boss let me 'borrow' it and put it back into stock which was nice
