Exclamation Fitting Parott CK3100 in a Signum 56 Plate ????

    Hello ,

How hard is it to wire a ck3100 into a cd70 sat nav system , I have a 56 plate Signum elegance , Is it just a case of taking out the stereo and putting the wireing block in , Found a SOT-122 on ebay for 13 quid ? Is this the right one ??? ( seem to think i've read someware it fits everything apart from the cd70 sat nav ??? )

    Hi

I have fitted the CK3100 in to my 2003 Vectra SRI 2.2 and all it required was to connect the ISO block that come with the kit.
All i had to do was remove the Radio, take out the ISO block from the back of the radio and connect the CK3100 ISO between both units then i sugest you remove the glove box for routing the wires and radio muting device.

    Hope this helps,

A 56 plate Signum will be full canbus so the radio uses a Quadlock connector and not ISO.

You should be able to wire the Parrot in without an adaptor lead if you follow the threads in this forum (plenty of threads about carkits)

EDIT: this diagram may help to give you an idea of how to wire it:

    As JuzzyD ......

Hi. I took out a Parrot CK3100 and installed a Nokia CK-15. Very easy to do the Parrot kit see this thread....http://http://www.vectra-c.com/forum...?t=9871&page=3

The parrott has two wires marked "Line +" and "Line -" a green and brown one if I recall. Connect them up as per the diagram in the link. Then connect up the power leads (one permanent to retain memory and one switched) and lastly the yellow? to the mute. Easy you do not need a seperate quadlock or iso connector.

I just stripped a small section off the wire and pushed them into the back of the original connector block then to hold them in place I tied up with small cable ties.

    Mark.
