    Default Scraped bumper

I am about as ****ed off as I've ever been in my life. After my major comfort problems with my Vectra (as seen in my earlier post today) I've now managed to scrape the f***ing things bumper against a brick wall. Area about 6 inches by 1 inch scuffed on my pearlescent black bumper.

Anyone know how much a repair is likely to set me back? I want a perfect finish, not just a cheap touch up.

Anyone recommend a decent bodyshop in the Staines/Slough area?

    New bumper? Christ...

Is that just for my "perfect" repair?

Can plastic bumpers be resurfaced? It's not cracked, just scratched. I'll stick up a photo later.

Have a look at MSC in Southall.

They do my lorries, as well as Superbikes, the finish is superb.

Tell them Andrew from Indesit sent you, Ask for Colin.

if its a deep scratch its hard to do a PERFECT repair (ie there is a couple of mill depth to the scratch)

Indesit, now there's a company i admire, had a washing machine made by them, lasted 11 yrs, only got rid of for a more water eco model, Zanussi, never again, 6 mths the things started playing up and after only 4 yrs it was kaput, main bearing plus electric panel, and the rubber feed pipe inbetween, got a Hotpoint now and to my delight I believe it's an Indesit company.

Yep. Hotpoint, who I started with, is now Indesit owned.

Good company, I've never had white goods that were so reliable and value.
