Dash board removal?

I've been removing the dash and all things attached (including passengers air bag) but I've come to a stop. Most of it was very easy but when I got it loose and tried to remove it, I found I couldn't manouver it past the stearing wheel.

Does the stearing wheel have to be removed to get the dash out?

you can get it past but its a killer to do it ..
just take the wheel off and the stalks it will save the cost of breaking them

I need to remove the dash so I can get the welding done on the side.

I would rather paint myself with honey and slap a bear than break my baby.

I am jumping into the new girl on Friday though! The TC button worked straight off when I stuck it in and I've already bought chrome trims and door scuf plates to stick straight on. Also I've ordered the VXR lip spoiler and I'll be getting a JDL front lower spoiler asap. Next up, NEONS! I think I'll stick with blue, though I'm tempted by green... I would ask what other people think but I think I know by now.
