Possible Duxford Meet???

Right folks,

I have spoken to a helpful lady called Jesica at Duxford about holding a meet there on the 29th of July (12:00 - 16:00).

She will get back to me about the date, She see there being no problem. But the price she quoted was different to the website.

The website says -

£9.95 per person,
But Jesica says £19.90 per car, which is ok if there's 2 or more in a car but a little much if there is just one person in a car

But saying that it normally cost £14.95 per adult, so £5 extra for our own parking area...

please let me have you thought on the above...

£19.90 is a bit steep as well if it's just one person coming in the car - which will be the case for a lot of people.

I'm going to be at Duxford anyway that day. I'll be there with the kids in my yoof group. Any chance I'll get the £20 for my minibus of 17 seats????

I live a little over a mile from Duxford Airfield so such a meet would be quite convenient.

Also, as a local resident, I have a 'Neighbours of Duxford' card to get me in free.

Now that sounds a good idea Ion.

I'd be prepared to journey up there, even if it wasn't an official Vectra-C get-together.
