    Default Hamilton wins again

    Job done.

He had the best car and used it to its full potential, whilst refusing to be intimidated by overpaid Alonso.... Hats of to him - mature beyond his years and did a lot to improve the image of F1 in RedNeck America.....

I think Alonso was under team order's today. He has not just fallen asleep this year.
They are going to get as much as possible out of Hammilton as they can, thats what they want from the new guy. Alonso was not happy at all did you see his face on the press conf afterwards. A very unhappy man.

Political correctness doesn't seem to be one of Lewis' strong points, at last someone who doesn't bow down, and the fact he's black makes it even better, or to quote "those monkeys at the back" superb, I can't wait until he's got 3 seasons under his belt, he'll be after Bernie's job.

I wasn't having a go at him, I like him because the fact he can say things like this means he's not one of the crybaby brigade who cite unfair advantage all the time when it isn't going their way all the time, his racing is good, ok the car is what's getting the results but the way he held off Alonso yesterday was really good because of his ability to not lose it, I feel if it'd been Mansell,Peterson,G Villenurve or Senna he'd have been taken inside and nudged out of the corner, there's probably 8 other drivers on the grid who given that car would win, but for a rookie like this to be so competitive in his first season is a right achievement.

My only gripe about him would be he seems like a boy band racer, i.e he's been manufactured so to speak

Manufactured or not, McClaren were right to invest all that money (a reputed 5 million) those years ago in this young man. That has already paid back in terms of publicity and better rates with the sponsors. Hats off to Ron Dennis.

Probably Mansell, Prost, Senna, Schumi Villeneuve (both) were better drivers but I wonder if they were better drivers with only 7 GP's under their belts?

Whatever the reasons, he has sparked interest in that boring procession called formula 1. If you want real racing watch Rossi and Stoner slug it out in moto GP

I wasn't comparing him to them, all I meant was they would have been more aggressive than what he faces today, he's got all the tools to become like them anyway in the future.
