    Default Tyre Pressure

    Hi all,

just been reading my book and ive got a 7 hour drive tomorrow so i thought i would check my pressures on my 55 plate 1.8

can anyone confirm the pressures as the book says 2

one is 29 F and 32 R while the other is 35 F and 38 R, the only differnece i can see is thats one is a load for 3 people and the other is a load for 3 people but with ECO

does any one know which is best?

I had a big argy-bargy with the dealership I use, at the last service
I checked the tyre pressures after service and they had set them to :
    front - 30
    rear - 30

Went back in and asked where they got them from...
    Up on our wall mate
    Show me
Fingered down and showed me "1.9 CDTI Vectra"
So where is the 3.0 CDTI Vectra?
    er, er
Went back to my car, retrieved the handbook
    Look, they should be :
    front - 38
    rear - 35

Clearly underinflated, you can even SEE it!

The foreman also has a 3.0 CDTI Vectra, and he went and checked his...
eek, mine are wrong too, well spotted

Makes me wonder how many other 3.0 CDTI Vectra have the wrong tyre pressures, as it does not appear on their chart!
