    Default Central locking problem

Twice now I've been unable to unlock the door with the keyfob. Had to use the key in the door to get in. Works ok after leaving it for a while. Am i doing something to upset the car perhaps anyone have any ideas what it might be

have you tried the spare key to see if that one works ok, if it does means the battery on the remote on its way out? Also if it keeps being pressed accidently whilst in your pocket say. it will lock the key out for a while.

If it works then doesn't I'd agree with the battery route. The key battery should be changed every year and don't forget to change the battery in the spare too.

Plasma's got it in one, I used to get this and it was normally after a long press on the fob.

Try re-synchronising the key with the car. To do this:
    1. turn the key to the run position
    2. within 30 seconds press one of the remote buttons

The doors should lock and unlock to indicate that the key transmitter has been re-synchronised with the receiver.

Or to use some else's words:

Thanks everyone, I'll give these things a try.
Must admit, panicked for a bit when no doors would open, took a while to notice that the door handle has a key slot
