    confused The mystery stain

Since I bought the car saw this stain, I was not carefull enough to clean it at that time to see if it appeared again
I think it might been caused by a badly placed cap (yellow one) by the previous owner. (first pic)
The second and third pic shows another stain over the plenum under the plastic trim, it also shows some oil residue on the black thing near it (which by the way don`t know what it is)
    Posible causes and solutions mates.....
    Cheers

The oil leaking from the filler has spread it self around via capillary action (i think thats the right word).

check the engine breathers as it seems to be blowing oil mist past the filler cap ( to cover the front cam cover), but it's also pushing past the o ring seal on the top of the plenubm onto the dual lenght intakes..

seems to just be a little pressurisation..

ok ok....first of all thanks, second, go easy on me mate, you know I`m kind of clueless with most of the technical stuff on this engines....where are these breathers that you mention?
Possible solution if they are the guilty ones?
    Cheers!

find the 1" diameter hose that comes out of the bottom of the vee and goes on to the intake butterfly housing, thats the breather....just check it's clear by blowing down it, you should have no pressure buildup if the hose is clear.....

if it's blocked, just take the hose off and clean it out inside....
