Hey all!
Newbie here, thinking of buying a nice Vectra SRI.
Currently have a brand spanking new one as a hire car and love it, but I'd not be able to afford one new lol
I'm aware that the bodyshape may have changed slightly (front wise at least!) over the past few years, can anyone point me at any pictures of some 2005 or perhaps 54 plate SRI's ?

Yes mate cruise control, air con and trip computer are all standard on the SRi, or at least they are on my pre-facelift anyway!!
You don't get as many gadgets as you would on say an Elite spec car but imo the subtle skirts and trim on the SRi's give them a better look.
....and don't forget the basic rule with Vectra-C SRi spec; the older the car, the more spec you get!
Vauxhall gradually reduced the spec of the SRi since launch of the C.
..the oldest Im going to plump for is a 54 plate. The SRI definantely look the part, and the gadgets in the 07 plate hire car Ive got are most impressive...if only I could get the seat to position correctly!!!
When did the C come out, was it 2002?
I`m not that savvy on the various models, but I reckon Id prefer the SRI or at a push the SXI... the 07 SRI hire care Ive got looks fantastic in silver, nice alloys etc.. really looks the part. Hopefully I can pick up a 54 plate or 2005 model SRI with the nice 16" alloys, skirts etc.

To be honest as long as it has all the gadgets and low mileage the age doesnt really bother me lol!

Just had to give the Vectra SRI back to Enterprise, back in the old Focus, feels very small all of a sudden!
Had a word with my garage fellow today, going to keep his eye out for a Vectra SRI on a 2004 or 2005 plate, fingers crossed lol.
One thing, does the Air Con effect the fuel consumption, seemed a bit thirsty the one I had, but I had the air con on almost all the time I was driving it.
