    Angry v6 cdti help!

    hi
    guys

    glad to be back i just had my clutch and flywheel done at 17k vauxhall done it under warenty but the the car has another prob when i drive the car at about 1.5 rpm the car goes into limp home mode first gear goes right all the way up the rpm band 2nd 3rd limp home it holds back then fires on limp home so i called the aa they found 4 error codes so i took it to the dealer linwood vauxhall and they have been giveing me the run round that was on monday there still no joy they dont know whats up all the said was something to do with fuel pressure plus they said we can get u a replacement car at a cost of £14 a day yeah right i use the car as a taxi now it cost me the weekend so am skint so how do the think am going to pay for the replacement so am still fighting with them i will post up error codes later and if they fix it i will let you know what was wrong but if any of you have any ideas feel free to post .

    are you running a box mate? if so it could be the fuel rail as i know another member who is running crd2 box has had to get fuel rail renewed under warranty although it may not be directly linked to the box, not heard good things about arnold clark linwood branch which doesnt help

    you may want to move dealer mate, as most don't charge for a courtesy car....

    and as pogo said...it could well be a shot fuel rail, fuel rail sensor or high pressure fuel pump...Have you ever fitted a tuning box to it????

    DPF?

    Or there is also (apparently) a fault with the breather on the top of the ECU.

    I had similar problems when I first fitted a CRD2, and Andrew at DTUK mentioned the breather cap on the ECU.

    It turned out to be the loom for the tunning box, and never had another problem after that was replaced. Don't have the box any more though as I'd read too many threads with people having issues.

    no i have not got a box all i have is a k&n panel well fingers crossed they fix it also i think its the last time i buy a vauxhall not a happy bunny

    I think the K&N can cause problems if they are over oiled.

    yeah but thats only if they've been serived at home and overoiled.. the factory supplied K+N won't oil up your airflow meter..
