    Default Car kit

OK I have a nokia car kit Ck-7W,
I cannot get my CCR2006 out no matter how much a wiggle and jiggle it

I have been told I can do something behind the glove box.

I have bought the wiring loom for the vectra C that plugs in behind the head unit.

Can this be used behind the globe box. What am I looking for? I took the globe box off and didnt see and loom that i could plug into...

Could someone take a picture?????? or advise me what loom would plug into where??

The 2006 is a real pain to get out -I've had trouble with mine.
All you should have to do is remove the 4 grub screws, then insert the removal tools, wiggle and pull.
Sometimes you can get a better grip if you pull the storage compartment underneath it out, but there is nothing else holding it in.
Be careful of forcing it, though, as you can pull the front off if you're not careful!

The cable you need to plug into is behind the glove box, but it's taped into the wiring loom that runs behind the glove box, so you'll have to find it and cut it loose. There shouldn't really be any need to take the stereo out to get to the connector. I have the same setup as you, and it works fine.

    Good luck!

Is this the same connector as what is behind the stereo??
Or is it a different shape.

What colour is it? Where should i be looking top left right bottom etc.

I have a http://www.kram.dk/images/ProductImagesExtra/68722.jpg loom. Will this plug directly in behind the glovebox? and then into the car kit??

That lead goes between the radio and the car loom, the lead behind the glovebox is the factory car kit lead and uses a different lead.

Ah, I see your problem, now.
Vauxhall helpfully put a connector in for you to plug into -but the loom that you have plugs into the back of the stereo, for which you'll need to pull the unit out.
For ease of fitting, you need something like this:http://shop.dashmount.co.uk/leadimag...adp=&km=&kmod=

Which goes straight into the pre-wired connector.

All late Vauxhalls are pre-wired for a phone kit, so yours will be.
