    Default Visa card's

Can anybody tell me who is doeing the best Visa card at the moment.
What it is i have a LLoydsTSB credit card at the moment and they informed me that they are takeing it off me as they are stopping useing visa card's and going to give me a american express card and a mastercard.
Problem is that i travel the whole year round and american express is rarely accepted and i think mastercard is not anywhere near as accepted as visa.
So im in a bit of a muddle as what to do.

Why do these companys just change things and we have to accect it as it is. I hate change when it puts me outof synk.

    Any ideas are great appriciated.

As Harry said, lots of advice on MSE - but I think you'll find that Mastercard is accepted in as many places abroad as Visa these days (I think).

Yep that's what I got having checked out MSE.

Use it as my company card for trips away. Got a GM card for everything else.

There are thousands of different types of credit cards out there, so it depends on what you want :

low APR (annual interest rate), ideal for short-term loan

no annual fee, some cards charge an annual fee from £25

no interest for x number of days, giving you extra time to make arrangements for repayment

spending incentives, you receive a % or points for every £ you spend but usually this is offset by a higher interest rate

I currently have eight credit cards, each for its own purpose
My main spending is on my CityBank Shell VISA card (previously RBS Shell VISA)
When used with Shell fuels, this returns about £10 per £600 spent
45 days to make repayment before interest applies
My grocery shopping is on my Morgan Stanley card, this returns 2% on the first £2000 spent each year, then 1% thereafter, giving me about £12 per £600 spent
60 days to make repayment before interest applies
I then have a balance transfer on egg card, no interest applies until August this year, repaying the minimum each month
The other cards are currently dormant, due to expired offers, and helps my credit rating
In August I will need to look for another free balance transfer offer credit card, loads to choose from!
