My local stealers are clueless. I have been down there twice and asked them to do this, and offered to pay for the time. They seem to think, because they have activated the tab on the main screen, that's as far as it goes. Don't get me wrong, they are nice chaps and very helpful. If I could just point them in the right direction (without trying to seem like I'm telling them their jobs too)

I have heard of many people getting this option activated without too much bother, so if anyone knows the process, or can speak to a VX electrician who is in the know maybe
But you have a MY 2007; isn't the BC standard at Vx?: confused:

Normally two things need to be done via tech2: 1. activate the BC and 2. insert an index code in the GID-programming; this 3-digit code depends upon equipment, software stand etc - I suppose they have to look this up in TIS.

Unfortunately, no. I have a Exclusiv with the plus pack, which gave me the CD40 and the B/W graphic display, but no BC, only the timer in UK models.

It's SRI / Design and up that has the BC as standard.

Hi All I have a cd70 which didn`t have the BC1 AND BC2 on ,so i phoned quite a few vauxhall dealers in my area to see if they can open this option with there tech 2 machine and all the dealers were clueless except the one in Dover called Perrys of Dover ,these guys where very helpfull indeed and a guy called John new exactly what i wanted to do,so I took it up there and after the cost of 30 mins labour I had it all working ,great garage why arent all dealerships like this one.
