    Default Towbars

Hi , Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a towbar to a Signum with the Irm kit with the quad tail pipes, or do they get in the road.
    Thanx Marty.

it can be done, but you have to get a little 'inventive' with the irmy rear valance..you'll have to cut it around a bit dependant on which bar you've got..

Mrs GSi's signum is lowered with twin exits and has a towbar, so i don't see why not..

if you want to fit a towbar and its got the irmy quad exhaust and rear
lower irmy skirt then there`s a rear extension cover for the skirt
to cover in were the skirt has been cut for the towbar thats if you want
to remove the ball when not in use.

the centre skirt towing cover is listed just for the vectra hatch/saloon/
estate rear bumpers and when the rear irmy skirts fitted, just as ian.c`s
but the centre skirt piece for signum as mine is the same as the vectra 1
so you can use it in the same way but i really not sure if you can fit a
towbar for when the quad exhaust is fitted.

Let me know how you get on. I had a chat with irmscher about the Signum and it looks like the two inner tail pipes of the quad will actually hit the tow bar bracket.

I am not saying it won't fit, but it looks very close to call, I have the dual branch on mine but this of course is standard fitment.

Yep, as above, it looked like the exhaust was going to knock on the bar, so a couple of strategically placed dents later, and I took the angle grinder to smooth the edge of the bar and it has been fine.
