    Default New headunit

    Hi, i bought Scott150SRI's Alpine headunit which he kindly supplied with the adaptor lead from canbus plug to ISO.

    Anyhow i thought i may have the wrong adaptor and there may have been a change between canbus and full canbus cars (i thought Scotts might be canbus)

    Looking on the Autoleads website there doesn't seem to be a different adaptor available, and it looks like there are pins which seem redundant.

    The head unit doesn't power up at all, not even a noise.

    I'm probably doing something stupid and rushing it so have stopped for now and will carry on during my lunchbreak tommorrow but can't live without tunes for long!

    Any help appreciated
