    Default Replacing Centre Console

    Hi chaps
    In need to replace part of the centre console (see photo)
    Has anybody done this? is it an easy job to do?...i've looked on this site for instructions but cannot find any. Any help much appreciated

    I haven't replaced it, but I've had it off when doing other stuff.

    You need to work backwards from the rear console removing each bit as you move forwards to then let you get that part off........

    Hi Duncan
    CRIKEY! looks a tad severe ...are the other bits..ie: rear heater vents/arm rest pretty easy to remove?

    Yep, pretty much. Just need to be careful with some bits as they need to be 'coaxed' out - particularly the part around the handbrake lever.

    Basically if you start on the rear part, get yourself a plastic spatula/wedge to prise off parts without gouging them. Start by taking off the cover that holds the rear 12V socket, then prise off the rear section that the 12V socket was in. Then you'll have access to the two main Torx bolts that hold the armrest and then it's a natural progression forwards.

    When you do it, let me know if you come stuck anywhere and I'll answer any questions.
