    Default Near Miss!

Driving to work this morning, doing 60 and drive round a bend to be met by...

...a bunny! who is slowly hopping across the road. I can't swerve as there is traffic on the other side. Can't brake as there is traffic behind! I thought "This is going to be messy, I'll HAVE to wash the car now!".

Anyway, the bunny is in the middle of my lane and...

    Nothing

I had managed to get my car clean over the bunny, looked in the mirror to see the bunny hopping along, and the car behind me swerve around it now it was closer to the edge of the road.

I'm sure some of the other vectra's here with lowered suspension and/or front spoilers would not have made it, glad mine is (currently) unmodified and had enough ground clearance!

Your right about the front splitters and bunny's, unfortunately mine was a bit low and hit it...... I saw it tumbling in the road. Don't know if it was ok or not....

i got a pidgeon once and when i looked in my rear view mirror he was on his back still spinning around.. felt guilty all the way home..

almost wiped out/got wiped out by bambi coming home from MTC's one evening.. stupid stag ran straight out in front of me and i bipped me horn.. and thought 'king thing should have looked before ya ran out' then thought 'doh' animals dont have road sense lol.. although his mate crossed about 2 seconds afterwards as i was looking in me rear view still cursing..
