Default Help - Ding to rear wheel arch

Reversing in the car park in work .... had the same spot for years.

This morning I managed to gently scrape the rear wheel arch (metal) against a pillar.

The bumper was fine - just slight dent at the edge of the wheel arch

My attempt at a paint touch up job is diabolical.

    Please see photos:

Is there an easy way of getting this dent removed? it is practically on the edge of the wheel arch.

    D'oh !

I'm now slightly depressed because of this flamin ding

The evening sun casts a bad shadow in the tiny dent

you can get in behind it with a small pick hammer and a flat faced dolly on the outer edge to dress the dent out..then you'll just be looking at a smart repair to blend new paint in..about £90 worth of damage..

Would this be a straight forward DIY Job? - the small hammer and dolly?

    Thanks

    Any other methods?
would some of the dent removal companies take this on?
    for how much?

yep, i'd try it myself, but i've done plenty of panel work before..see Mrs GSi's mini estate for evidence....

if you want to give it to someone else, try getting 'chipsaway' in for a quote, they may surprise you....

I can Fully Reccomend Chipsaway - My Mate works in the High Wycombe Branch so I get Good Deals, they Will normally Quote you for the Whole thing - The PDR (paintless Dent Removal) and Painting the Mark.

    Usually Reasonably Priced as well
