Dont Like The New Front

it was growing on me a bit til i saw pics from last weekend of it beside old pre facelift. Not for me i'm afraid though vxr looks ok and maybe with a irmy grille. worst thing is the lights just ruin the car. i'll be keeping my current c til the vectra d comes out i think

Problem is ours will be worth a couple of quid. The guy at the dealership said to me that even they felt they have made a mistake with this one, just looks like they have done it for the sake of it.

It may depend on what colour the car is, I think its OK but then i'm about to get one......apparently!

The original C looks a little boxy at the front compared with the rest of the car....it kinda suits the Signum though...

The Life and club models mook a bit bad as they have the 'normal' bumper.

Every other model Design/Elite/SRi/Exclusive have the SRi type sports bumper.

Now these look better, the SRi is cool with the black lights.

I really like the new front. The 'square' headlights on mine are the worst aspect of the car. They look kinda dumpy whereas the new one is more shark like. Will still be keeping mine for another 3 years

I think it's a bit too much like the Astra. This is not a bad thing in itself, as I think the Astra's one of the nicest looking cars in its class. But I think Vauxhall are maybe falling into a trap - and may well end up with a range of cars, all similar looking, just in different sizes.
The interior is very similar to the old one but the dashboard etc are finished / covered in a better quality and thicker material. It all looks a lot classier, despite the basic design being unchanged and I was pleased to see that no longer can you make out the outline of the passanger air bag through the dashboard material.
Not so sure about the new SRi wheels though.

Like the front end....but they should have up-dated the rear at the same time!!!

I have to admit that I like it very much. So much so that I have placed my order.
I have the Sri Vectra at present, and personally think that the new front is a vast improvement. I am now counting the days as my Signum will be coming home on the 24/10/2005. I will post pictures and I and sure that you will agree that it is a much better looking car now.

Me no likey. The family nose looks alright on the Astra and Zaffy, but I think the Vectra front end is too high and looks awful. The Signum now looks just like a 5 door Astra from a distance, too!
