    Question Misting Up

Noticed on my SRI that sometimes the screen seems to mist up at the bottom but on the outside??, and when I put the wipers on it clears but then quickly comes back - Any idea's on what this is and how it can be avoided. Is it something to do with the A/C and the outside temperture

    Cheers all

most cars do this on cold mornings till the car gets warmed up. Once its warmed up inside, you should find it doesnt do it. (put the blowers on the windscreen)

If you've got the aircon on, it tends to make the bottom of the screen cold. The air outside condenses when it hits the screen. When it's warmed up, it stops.

To add what MLC says - its dependant on the weather- been very damp recently in the mornings so more water in the air!

Yep, Its the cold air on the 'inside' from the aircon, that is colder than the outside air hitting the screen.

If you want to clear it quick, shove the blower on hot and watch it disappear
