my 1.8 design has decided it wants its first service, the INSP light has come on
how much roughly should i be looking at for a first service guys?
dont wanna be ripped off and end up paying through the nose

Go independent then, just use VX parts and a VAT registered garage and you'll be absolutely A-OK, warranty not affected.

vx phoned me yesterday they wanted £155

I got my 3.0 serviced this month, £300 for the major service which included aircon service and re-gas. This also included engine flush and emmissions treatment so was very happy with that, offered to pick up or drop off or I could have courtesy car (Meriva). Oh, and they changed the batteries in the keyfobs.

Twells of Billinghay fantastic dealer, in fact think they won vauxhall dealer of the year 2006.

Charles Warner in Lincoln wanted £249 without flush/fuel treatment or aircon service and a 3 week wait if I wanted a courtesy car.

mines due end of this month, first service on a 1.8 and VX main dealers want £184

so around 160-180ish then, not as much as i was looking at,lol
the pugs first service was 220
