    Question Alloy Wheel Scratches

sadly driving today i clipped a kerb and scratched my alloys quite badly, is there any fillers/scratch removers out there that actually work? i've got 17"s Vx ones.

If it's one deep into the alloy then you need an alloy refurb. - It costs approx. £70 per wheel!!!

Hi there. I had a scuff on an alloy ance and thought that it looked really bad, to be honest it was bad. I bought a DREMMEL and using a selection of the pieces that come with it I was able to grind the damaged area down and also polish it all up. The end result was as good as a refurb in my opinion. Whats more the DREMMEL is cheaper than a refurb and can be used for many other tasks. No I am not on a commission!! I hope that helps.

Chipsaway do very good alloy wheel repairs. Not sure how much but I'd guess a lot less than £70.
