Well i will start again with this thread now i am on my own PC as i spent 40 mins typing it last night on karens laptop and when i hit post the thing logged me out and wiped it
What can i say. i set off at 7.30am saturday from not so sunny fife down to meet Daviek at strathy park to deliver the pillar trim kit before hitting the road. nice steady drive down although the prat nav decided to take me about 30 miles past the billing junction on the M1 then bring me back again but found top end farm in the end. Another great evening with a bit of banter and few beers before the early rise on sunday and off to the pod for another great show and superb turn out for the club.
followed that with a blast back to the campsite and pizza's (no i didnt hold them with duncan driving this time) few beers trhen the 420mile journey home on the monday. It was nice seeing old faces and new and good to see the scots lads getting down for it (Big davie, davie k, pogo (mark), geoshaw(george) and partner. I didnt get the chance to chat as much as i had planned with you guys but hope to see you soon at the upcoming scottish meet.
I'd like to say thanks to the following people in no particular order.
Firstly ALEX - For orgainising the event, tickets etc and dealing with the issues on the day with the space being smaller than we were told. Great job mate nice seeing you again.
Mark and Cara - for again supplying the food and hosting the BBQ on saturday and to mark for diagnosing the probably problem with my car (something 3 garages and numerous visits have failed to do)
Daz (GG's mate) for helping with the cooking on saturday with helpers.
Helen (smutty nutty) and the pirates for inviting us and sorting the campsite and DITCHP for sorting numbers for our lot.
Duncan - for picking up all the stickers, show plates and clothing and for trip to cash and carry for the food on saturday along with helpers shazz (mrs aja) and diane (mrs spoons)
Andrew and sharon for cooking on sunday along with pricy and helpers.
HUGE thank you to Jaykay for helping me find my insuling on monday morning. It had fell under the seat and i had everything out the car and was getting a tad worried but jay got the torch out and got under the seat while i was flapping. Top bloke.
If theres anyone i've missed then i apologise as my brains mush today.
Last and by no means least THANK YOU to all who attended and made the it the great weekend it was. Once again you all did the club proud.
