    Unhappy Bust Me camera

Having only had it since March, I had tken some fantastic (IMO) time lapse shots of the cost under a full moon etc and had worked out a great shot for a magazine comp during my holiday in Majorca last week. Before I could take the shots I dropped my Fiju S9600. It proved one drop too many even though I broke alot of the fall with my big toe.

Case has cracked, Screen is loose and the camera no langer takes shots but will play back the card so I have not lost any images.

£110 to repair/Refurb Inc Postage and a new warranty.....

Good news is that work are gonna foot the bill as some of the damage was suffered when I took it to the dockyard with me on a job.

You might be able to claim on your household insurance for a new one if you dropped it in the back garden on the patio.

Now Ed that's just plain dis-honest I would never do some thing like that.

Firstly no insurance missus won't have it. and Secondly work are paying anyway and the camera will get a full refurb. So I'm h.a.p.p.y!

    Hows this for service.

I sent it for repair 5pm Wed.
    They fix it 930-1130 Thurdsay
I have it back by 7:30 Friday...in time for the rolling road runs.

I sent the camera by Royal Mail Special Delivery When I got it back, I thought they'd done a 1-1 swap as it was too quick, but no the serial number matches. In the box was a job card. They started work on it at 9:30 on Thursday for 2 hours.

So BIG HAND to Fuji Repair Centre Bedford!
