    Default Them's some clean wheels!!

Todays job was give my wheels a good clean. When I collected the car last week, I requested that the wheels be re-furbed. I half expected this to include a good clean, but apparantly not. Or perhaps I'm being a bit obsessive to expect the insides of the wheels be cleaned too!!

So off they came today, and along with a small arsenal of cleaning kit, I set to work. 4&1/2 hours later, 2 clean and shiny cars!! I think it was worth it, but my neighbours think I'm daft Also, why do people always insist on saying 'You can do mine next!'. Makes me want to hose them down..!!

A sunday afternoon well spent in my opinion, had a couple of beers and got a bit of sun too!

Looking good mate. 4.5 hrs is a long time on 2 wheels, were you drinking the beer and sitting in the sun most of time. LOL.

4&1/2 hours included both cars too!!

The Saab is a lovely car, too bad I'm not allowed to drive it I test drove it before purchase, but that was the last time, back in december!!

It's the 2.0 turbo petrol, badged as 1.8t, with 150hp. So similar performance to my 1.9 150 cdti. Not massively quick but a cracking car for a leisurely drive! Only 25mpg, but that's not my problem!!

The Saab looks VERY nice m8 but i am a little biased
Get it a nice BSR remap..........takes it to around 205bhp and improves fuel economy. Mine gets around 30mpg now and that's with 250bhp

Nice work with the wheels too by the way

Sounds good, but the car is through the Motability scheme, so can't touch it, unfortunately. Does mean that there are no tax, insurance or service/repair costs, only thing to be paid for is petrol. Gotta take the rough with the smooth, I suppose!

What a lovely pair you have there mate!! Very clean. I know what you mean about neighbours. Had the same comments yesterday, along with "you'll rub the paint off it" because I like to keep it waxed. K**bheads!
