You're not, unfortunately the cradle and the radio have a habit of welding themselves together, I think if it wont budge you have two options, one is to break the radio with brute force, and the other is to take the dash apart and see if you can separate the two

Have you tried exerting a little outward force on the pins at the same time as pulling back?

Are you using the removal pins for Vauxhall cars? if it's slighty wrong size, it won't budge the catches at the sides on radio and release it.

Have you tried pulling out the botton shelf thing just above the cigerette lighter, then pull out and unplug the climate controls. This way you can get underneath the stereo and try that way?

I purchased a set of double din (vauxhall) stereo removal keys from Halfrauds.

They didnt perfectly fit and needed i tiny bit of bending for them to fit. I have had the climate control out and the screen above the stereo out.

Does anyone have a set of Vauxhall removal keys that they have used and know work? If so could I "borrow" or buy them??

Will the dealer be able to remove the stereo?
    Cheers

You can get to the back of the sterio by taking the glove box out or the easeist way is to put bluetak on the blanking switches and pull them out, you can then put your fingers behind sterio facia and pull it out.HTH

    OK
I dont know if the keys are working. I put them in and I have tried pulling from under the heater, and i have tried from the side.

How can I tell if the clips are naff? I am thinking of taking them back to halfrauds and asking them to have a go?
