    confused Are alloys covered in warranty

    Evening all ,,
    just quick one, are the alloys supplied buy vx covered under the first 3 year warrenty..
    Just asking as the front offside alloy has started to peel.. all the others are ok perfect but noticed this today when washed...

    I would have thought so, call in and ask them. But I think to claim you may have to have had it serviced by Vx since new?

    Do ask Lee, but unless they are under six mths old I think even if they're covered they will find a reason why they aren't if you know what I mean.

    or they will blame brake dust left too long on the wheel, or chemical wheel cleaner used to remove brake dust....

    I would be amazed if you get anywhere but worth a try.

    Don't let them fod you off with 'must have been serviced by VX to claim on warranty' that is illegal practice.

    If it is clear that the protective coating is peeling, then you be lucky.
