Tried to fit rear sri bumper......

I have to day recieved a SRI bumper in the post for my Elite
Looked at the how 2 and thought nice and easy..

Everything was going superb until i came to take the Factory fitted Parking Sensors from the old bumper to the new.

I had looked and found the hole positioning on the sri Bumper for the sensors... all going swimming until.....

There is no way of removing the mounts from the elite bumper, with out damaging the mounting.

I have managed to remove the actual sensor no probs, but the mount is plastic welded to the bumper, another good vx design.... not


Any way so have decided to scrap the idea of the sri bumper.... gonna get the bumper touched up, VXR Rear spoiler already bought, just waiting for deliver... Then up for sale if I cant find a solution

Does anybody know if you can buy the mounts from vauxhall , 4 needed
Please Help as the sri bumper and vxr insert is excellent and would compliment the new twin exhaust.....

IIRC the part numbers are:

2x RING, RETAINING, SENSOR, PARKING PILOT SYSTEM, REAR, CENTRE, RH AND LH (IDENT E) (93172124)

1x RING, RETAINING, SENSOR, PARKING PILOT SYSTEM, REAR, RH (IDENT D) (93172122)

1x RING, RETAINING, SENSOR, PARKING PILOT SYSTEM, REAR, LH (IDENT F) (93172126)

is it possible just to get the retaining bit as i have the rest inc the sensor...

These are just the plastic retainers that bond to the bumper, i know it
looks a bit confusing but it's just the way vx describe things on EPC.
