Default 17" Alloys for Vectra Design

I am looking to put 17" Alloys on my Vectra Design, 16" just don't look good enough, so after some advice. Do I go for Elite or SRi 17" or like these on eBay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Astra...QQcmdZViewItem or these - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ayphotohosting

Then may look at lowering a bit.

    Cheers

both sets of alloys are nice but if your going for the 17" then your better
getting the tyre profile of 50 as thats wot they shud be on a 17" alloy for
the vectra, there is a set of sri 17¬s in the for sale section that someone
is selling and your better off going for the correct ones and as they will
    suit ya car very nicely.

There's nothing wrong with using 225/45 either Andy. It's a recommended Vx size, and given it's a more popular size the tyres are cheaper and there's more choice.

I changed from 215/50 to 225/45 when I had 17s and I think they look better as well.

arrr right ok no probs thanx for correcting me,its just i was looking in the car brochures
on the size of the tyres thats fitted to the alloys and it shows the 50`s fitted and not
45`s and doesn`t really say anywere that says they recommend the 45 profile,i`m not
really familiar of wot size tyres you can fit on the alloys so sorry ppl i`ll butt out pmsl

lol - yep, Vx fit the 215/50 as standard on 17s (not sure why as they aren't a common size and so the tyres are more expensive).
