    Default Parking Sensors

Now, I'm no good at this DIY lark (just ask the wife) so I'm looking at getting someone to fit rear sensors for me (managed to scrape three corners on my old B but the C is pristine at the mo.

    I've come across this company

    http://www.ecartec.com/pg016.html

who fit steelmate sensors for £150

Anyone got any info about the company or the sensors?

    Cheers

I've seen them mentioned on here before. I don't know anything about them but there are plenty of other options around, such as http://parking-sensor.co.uk/gallery/vauxhall-vectra.asp who do these for £60.

I've used Steelmate for years & they are only 15 minutes up the road from me.
They're a great bit of kit compared to the £30 jobbies of ebay. They have a new range out now with a bright blue lcd display. As soon as I saw these which have such a fast reaction time I wanted to replace my own but as I have front and rear I couldn't.
Being honest I recall they cost me £85 with VAT so if you wat to talk I'll see what we can do.

edit: just realised how old this post is. Sorry

I don't like them myself, my Superb has them and the sense at the sides as well as the rear, and the noise just annoys me, bleep bleep bleep, not an item this Major Parker needs tbh.

Yep, Markyate - my dad owns the company next door to them!
