why am I changing my car ?

Thought id share my good fortune with you guys, I have decided to trade my car as ive come into some money.

If anyone saw the ITV Tonight with Trevor McDonald when they had that money saving guy on about council tax I can tell you it works !

I did what they suggested, our house was 1 band higher than neighbors in same house (some not all) and when we purchased it 13 years ago it was for £8000 less than the council tax band it was in.

I appealed against the banding, took me about 4 hours to put everything together in a letter and include valuation report, web print outs of property values etc.

Tried to fob me off for 4 months but won in the end

Council tax dropped 1 band, over £30 a month saving.

Backdated 13 years - you get the difference back.

£3500 towards a new car.

If you dont look into it your either ...
A. living in a band A property
B. So wealthy you dont need the money
C. mad.

He is good, i usually listen to him on the Jeremy Vine show on Radio 2 on Friday lunchtimes. Taken his advice a few times and saved a bob or 2
