I had a 2.2 Direct and they did improve it a bit. Slightly better acceleration and better fuel economy.

I wanted the 2.0 turbo but couldnt find one locally. Is it a beast?

Looking at some of your cars tho I need to ditch the standard wheels. However I just bought 2 new tyres, 160 bux for fitting balancing etc!!!. so no new wheels quite yet.

I just read on here you can get 225's instead of 215's a bit cheaper as there is more range, they still fit the wheel?
Still fits mate and only about 1 mph difference in speed (your clock will say 60 but you will be going 59)

Fuel economy isn't as bad as I thought, I got one of those trip comuters and the last tank load i've averaged 35.6 mpg driving normally. Giving it a lot of beanz for a tank takes it down to about 29 mpg. Which is what....80 ish miles less per tank....I think.

Not bad for a 2.2 which weighs 1 and a half tonnes. Still, **** compared to the CDTi.

I'm taking it down to the South of France for two weeks in a months time. I cant wait to give it a proper run out.

Someone teach me about spoilers. The lip spoilers cute, is it worth changing? does it really make the car look better to have a tea tray on the back?

    mate.

Know what you mean about the Veccy seeming slow but being quick (although I have the CDTi 150!!). It carries its speed well, very refined. My CDTi is just as fast on paper as my old 325ti auto, but doesn't feel it (till I floor it in 4th and as I change notice I'm doing almost 80 )

    from another newbie!!

Ive had my 2.2 Direct for a couple of months and its amazing. Had it up at almost 90 this morning and it handled perfectly. Seems to run much smoother with a full tank of petrol, which won't last very long!!!

I hope you'll enjoy the car because it's the best i've had
