Kind of disapointed

Been trying to mod little by little my car, but I´m getting kind of disapointed thus the fact that I can´t find any mods around my own contry for the Vec.
I´ve been browsing on UK e-bay for quite a while and there are many interesting things, the problem comes with the shipping costs which to my surprise they are not expensive, they are astronomical, just to give you an example, I was going to bead for a leather stearing wheel with air bag, I contacted the seller and just for the shipping the cost was 100 punds, that not taking into account the import-export fees. The shipping fee for a front grill was around 70 ponds. Don´t know if for you mates this are reasonable costs but for me, a third world country guy they are kind of.....difficult to pay..... This considering it´s a hobby.
Just wanted to make my thoughts public....

Many reasons for being a third world contry...the most important... the lack of vectras around....second most important the lack of mods for them
Don´t know about petrol prices around there but here a litter of petrol or gasoline as we call it, it´s about $8.45 pesos wich is pounds is something like 0.40 GBP

Wooooowww that´s out of this world! Never thought petrol was that expensive, now I know why in Europe diesels are more common. I´m shocked!

sorry to hyjack thread but that was very funny!

Even here in OZ land everyone is up in arms when the price touches $130 a litre a - mere 54 pence!! - it went up to a 'gawd forbid' $139 last weekend!

if only it was that cheap in the uk and I would bring back a V8 Statesman with me!......
