CDC40 Opera user manual

Hi everyone - first post. Bought an 06 1.9 cdti 150 Vectra exclusiv with plus pack on Monday but there is no user manual for the CDC40. I've tried the Vx download site and its not there. Anyone know where I might get a manual or even a download?

Twotanks - to be honest the user manual is not a lot of cop - all the info is there, but like most user manuals these days it's badly laid out and a real slog to get through.

As you're probably finding, the CD40 is fairly easy & intuitive to use, and most of the menus & options are self explanatory. I just sat outside one evening once the kids were in bed and had a play with it.

If you need answers to any specific questions as to how to do something there are plently of good folks here ready to help.

And BTW - from one newby to another - welcome!

Thanks for the reply Landbeach. Whats the little phone icon on the computer display for? According to the car manual more details are in the audio manual which I don't have.

That will be the "mobile phone portal" if fitted - allows you to connect a mobile phone by Bluetooth and so far seems to work really well for me!

As with all bluetooth devices you need to create a paired connection between the phone & the cdc40, and can then access phonebook and make and receive calls hands free using voice commands or steering wheel buttons.

Forgot to say - you can alos connect a non-bluetooth phone using a phone-specific cradle attached to the interface next to the handbrake!

Thanks again Landbeach. Only got the car on Monday. All I had on the screen display was sound, phone and bc icon. The BC only displayed the timer function so I went to a bloke who plugged in a tech 2 and gave me the BC1 and 2 functions. It was only when I got home I found that the phone icon had disappeared. I'm presuming that as the phone icon had been displayed that the previous owner had a bluetooth phone connected.
