Default Help!! Wind Deflectors & Spring Clip

Tried to fit the new wind deflectors from Germany this morning - attached the enclosed spring clip to the deflector but it kept falling off before I managed to get the deflector in place - am I useless or have others had the same problem & is there a solution?

I got the VX ones and there is a thin wing that gets pushed under the rubber rim of the window, don't know if yours are the same though

The way I did them was - put teh deflector in place, then put the clip on the end of a flat bladed screwdriver then push it up into the rubber - finish it off by closing the window!

Cheers that's the conclusion I was coming to but it's not what the diagram seems to show

These are the German Octimex deflectors - similar principle but come with a small spring clip that is supposed to stick to the wing & get forced into the U channeling. I assume it's to stop them falling out but it doesn't stay stuck to the wing long enough to get shoved into the channel so it's follow Neil's example I think
