On a gentle run I can push 28mpg on the V8 at 80mph....
That is a gentle run though lol.
I used to average 32mpg with my old 2.2 mixed motorway - town, around town/cross country only would drop to mid 20's

yeah, time for more than 4 cylinders.......
Mrs GSi now runs her 200+BHP signum for less than it cost to run the old 2.2 she used to have..
