    Hello

I´m going to visit London 31/10-4/11

Lion King is on the schedule for the 1/11

Would also be very nice to visit a local pub (or similar) whith live music entertainment.

Irish music or "sixties" (a Beatles-tribute band would be the dream)

    Any suggestions ?

    Best regards

That's funny, I'm going to Lund on 25/10 to 28/10. Know any good pubs there?

Its famously a gay bar, even though it did not mention that in the revue. and I did stumble upon it by accident and no I was not looking for it, and yes I am straight before anyone says anything. I just thought it would be funny for the Scallies to pile in there.

You can't go wrong in and around Covent Garden. Try the balcony bar in Punch and Judy's then any of 5 pubs within 100 metres. Its a good laugh there and there's a half decent club for late night drinking at the bottom end of Covent garden (always been too pi**ed to remember the name)

Ste is going to Lund, a swedish town.

I ( 52 years stright) am going to London with wife and 18 year old daugther. We think it would be nice to visit a pub whith live music entertainment (not interested in dancing).
We like music from "the sixties" (Beatles Stones Animals and so on)

We are not interested in gay-bars!!!!!

We are living near British Museum.

    Any suggestions?

    Best regards

Well, CPHB - as mentioned above you can't really go wrong with places around Covent Garden, not far at al. from where you are staying. I'm sure there's an Irish bar in that area.

I can't remember any specific places as it's been about seven years since I lived in London so things have all changed!

As for the Lion King, you'll love it - it is absolutely brilliant. The sets are just amazing.

Hopefully someone more local can give specific names of pubs etc. to visit.

    D
